Tara Griffith, LCSW

Executive Director

Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 13+ years of experience

Tara began working in the field of adoptions in 2010.

Starting as a Family Services Counselor for a community-based care agency in Florida, she quickly went on to work as an Adoption Specialist. In this role, she gained experience completing adoption home studies and furthering her knowledge regarding the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC). ICPC is the process authorizing different states to work together to ensure that children who are placed in another state, either through foster care or in an adoptive home, are safely and adequately taken care of.

Tara obtained her master’s in clinical social work from Florida State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. She has extensive experience completing domestic adoption home studies, adoption counseling, expectant parent counseling, birth parent counseling and assessments.

Tara has walked through her own adoption journey both as an adoptee and as a birth/first parent. She provides a unique perspective about adoption that allows for her clients to feel at ease knowing that she understands adoption both professionally and personally.
