Our Services

  • The home study is one of your first steps when adopting a child, outside of educating yourself regarding the complexities of adoption. This time is filled with all sorts of emotions.

Our agency guides you through each step, making you feel at ease and answering your questions along the way. We are thrilled that you have taken this first step. Lean in hard, have an open mind, and trust that we are here with you and your family!

As of December 28, 2024 we are no longer offering this as a service. Thank you for your patience as we transition away from this service at this time. We are well versed in adoption home study agencies that perform in an ethical manner. We are more than happy to offer recommendations as you begin your home study process.

  • We, at Saving Grace, cannot stress enough the importance behind education. You need to process through, acknowledge, and most importantly, accept that adoption in and of itself is rooted in trauma.

We work with anyone who is seeking more information to better understand adoption and its nuances. We provide you with different educational topics regarding adoption and its impact on all involved. These topics include, but are not limited to, supporting birth/first parents in parenting, preventing adoption disruptions, the impact of substance exposure, nuances of interracial adoption, LGBTQIA2S, helping children heal from past traumas, coping with infertility, and how to navigate different levels of communication with the birth/first family.

We feel it is vital to discuss adoption trauma and what this may look like for adoptees. All education is provided by a licensed clinical social worker who is adopted and has been a birth/first parent for 18 years. Again, no question is a bad question! Learning allows us to remain child-centered!

Our team works with adoptees, birth/first families, adoptive families, adoption attorneys, agencies, home study providers, adoption competent counselors, and reproductive, perinatal, and maternal mental health specialists. We pride ourselves on the consistent professional relationships that we have with each.

Know that you are in good hands as you gain the knowledge and tools that are necessary when making the decision to learn more about adoption and it’s impact on all involved.

  • We can help with adoption competent therapy services for any family member within the adoption constellation.

This includes children, parents, grandparents, etc.! These services are provided virtually through a HIPAA secure platform. We are licensed to provide therapy services for anyone living in Florida. If you are a family who lives outside of Florida, we are more than happy to provide you with names of adoption competent therapists in your state.

We accept Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Optum, Aetna, Oxford, Oscar, and United Health. We also accept self-pay clients.

They may not have my eyes, they may not have my smile, but they have all my heart.
